Paleontology
This program is science exploration at its best! Your program begins with an interactive presentation about clues that living things have left behind from millions of years ago. Students will learn how scientists read the stories in the rocks … genuine fossils of sea life and dinosaurs will highlight the discussion. We introduce your students to a live predecessor and a live descendant of those extinct giants, utilizing the Nature Center’s live animal collection!

Fossil formation: mold-and-cast, impression and permineralization
as a field trip
