Hudson River Study
From the banks of the Hudson River at Kowawese Unique Area, our program begins with an overview of the Hudson River from its beginning to its end. Students will learn some of its valuable history and ecology as we take in the views of Storm King Mountain and Bannerman’s Island. The program continues with a hands-on investigation of the macro-invertebrate life that supports the river’s incredible food chain. Then we will head to the beach to catch fish in our 30’ seine net.
