Who Lives at the Pond?
A visit to the pond will introduce young students to the specific animals that inhabit the pond ecosystem. Your program begins with an interactive discussion about the many fascinating and wonderful creatures that make the pond their home. A museum educator will then lead students on a short hike to the wetlands. On the way, children will have picture field guides to help them take a closer look for red wing black birds, cattails, geese and more!
